Lord Neil Gibson: Exploits Around the Globe!

Obviously, when you have a title like Ambassador at Large and a reputation for bringing humanitarian relief to nations as divergent as Hong Kong and Iraq, to say nothing of ravaged areas like New Orleans, it should come as no big surprise to learn that you’re plenty busy, and that you have different projects going on in many different nations. • Finally, we might mention that Lord Neil Gibson is seeking to purchase a diamond mine in South Africa, one he would surely manage and promote in such a way as to be immensely beneficial to the local economy.

Lord Neil Gibson in the U.S.A.!

Lord Neil Gibson in the U.S.A.!

A world traveler, ambassador of humanitarianism and goodwill, and a true global citizen, Lord Neil Gibson has lent his considerable problem-solving, relief-bringing, and alliance-forming prowess to a number of nations all over the world. We have talked about some of them already. We talked about the amazing work he did when he was appointed as Ambassador at Large to West Africa, partnering with Firestone Tire Company to provide relief and much-needed supplies to nations in ruin. We talked about how he is helping to rebuild the economic infrastructure in Lesotho, and how he is doing much the same thing, as well as building hospitals, in Iraq. And of course, we have also discussed his travels to places as varied as Western Europe and Hong Kong.

But what might surprise you, at first blush, is that Lord Neil Gibson has also lent his services to folks in America. This might be surprising only because we typically do not think of America as having the same kinds of basic needs as somewhere like, say, war-ravaged Iraq, or tiny Lesotho. And yet, when you pause for a moment to consider recent events and current crises that America faces, it quickly becomes apparent that the expertise and humanitarian efforts of a man like Lord Neil Gibson might actually come in handy.

Is there a particular area that needs assistance? Why, the City of New Orleans serves as a prime example. You probably know that there have been many charities and organizations to take on the challenge of rebuilding this city in the wake of Katrina, and you probably also know that these efforts are ongoing, and that there is still much work to be done.

What you might not know is that Lord Neil Gibson has been integral in some of these ongoing efforts. Indeed, in recent years Lord Neil Gibson has met with high-ranking Louisiana officials and opened many doors for bringing public and private funding into the city—work that is essential for ensuring that this city continues to find its footing. All of this serves, quite simply, as further proof of the kind of impact Lord Neil Gibson has in needy regions throughout the world—including those in our own back yard!

Lord Neil Gibson: Bringing Relief to Iraq

Lord Neil Gibson: Bringing Relief to Iraq

In our highly politicized age, it’s difficult to talk about Iraq in bipartisan terms. Everyone has strong feelings about the state of affairs in that country, and of the United States’ involvement in it, especially. What many of us are inclined to say is that, regardless of the strategy and political maneuvering that went into the military endeavors in that country, the Iraq we see before us today is one that desperately needs to be rebuilt—rebuilt into a peaceful and prosperous nation. But of course, the ravages of war and the nature of politics being what they are, this is easier said than done. It takes real leadership, and clear ideas, to enact positive change in that nation.

And these, of course, are a couple of characteristics that Lord Neil Gibson has in great abundance. Indeed, we have already spoken at some length about the different ways in which this man has brought about positive change in nations across the world, and how he has done so through a combination of diplomacy, practicality, and alliances with both heads of state and corporate giants. That’s certainly the way we could view his collaborations with the royal family in Lesotho, or even his partnership with Firestone in bringing relief to West Africa. And that’s also the way we can view Lord Neil Gibson’sinvolvement in Iraq.

A big part of Lord Neil Gibson’s humanitarian work is centered on rebuilding economic infrastructures in crumbling nations, and Iraq certainly fits that bill. But how can one man rebuild the entire financial system of a nation in chaos? The answer, of course, is through an ingenious partnership with a major financial investment firm, specifically Wontert Capital AG, whose involvement in Iraq is critical to the success of Lord Neil Gibson’s endeavors.

And these allies are not just rebuilding the financial system. No, they are also building new hospitals in areas of the nation that desperately need them, offering further evidence of just the kind of positive change a man like Lord Neil Gibson can bring to a needy country!

Lord Neil Gibson’s Work in Lesotho

Lord Neil Gibson’s Work in Lesotho

If given a map of the world, how long do you think it would take you to locate the Kingdom of Lesotho? Geography buffs could find it in a matter of seconds, most likely, but anyone who isn’t rigorous in their knowledge of our world’s political systems would doubtless find it tough to spot. That’s because, for one thing, Lesotho is very tiny. And for another, it is actually located squarely inside of another nation—specifically, South Africa. The Kingdom of Lesotho may be tiny, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t also a very complex state, with its own complex set of problems, including a crumbling economy that, until very recently, seemed almost beyond help.

But help arrived just in the nick of time, and, as you might imagine by now, it arrived in the form of Lord Neil Gibson. By now we have made a few things quite clear about Lord Neil Gibson. For starters, we have made it known that he travels to many different nations—including not just bustling economies like Hong Kong, but also impoverished regions in West Africa, and yes, Lesotho as well. We have made it known that he extends to these nations goodwill, and that he has a knack for problem solving. And we have made it clear that a big part of what makes Lord Neil Gibson so effective is the way in which he is able to form meaningful relationships that yield potent results—for instance, his relationship with the Firestone Tire Company, which made a lot of his humanitarian efforts in West Africa possible.

And so it is in Lesotho. Lord Neil Gibson struck up meaningful connections with the government there, and has even worked very closely with the king and his brother. What he has done, basically, is secure the ability to work with the Twin Peaks Investment group to rebuild Lesotho’s economic infrastructure, effectively bringing a new lease on life to this troubled nation.

It’s a great example of the ordinary means—an equally profitable business venture, and a relationship with the governing body—through which a man like Lord Neil Gibson can make an immense difference in the world around him.

The following timeline is by no means complete, but does highlight some of the most important era of his earliest days as an ambassador and humanitarian.

1998-2000. This is the era we have already mentioned on a previous page, the stage at which Lord Neil Gibson was appointed Ambassador at Large to West Africa. In this role he worked tirelessly to bring much-needed supplies to impoverished communities. He raised support and collected supplies, clothing items, and books at California schools, and shipped them back to Africa in empty shipping containers, all thanks to a partnership with the Firestone Tire Company!

2000-2004. During these years, Lord Neil Gibson was appointed Honorary Consul General to Liberia, and was charged by the British Foreign Commonwealth Office with distribute aid to those in need throughout West Africa.

2004-2007. During this time, Lord Neil Gibson traveled the world and formed meaningful partnerships and alliances. And ever since then, Lord Neil Gibson has been forming connections and enacting positive social change in nations all over the world. We will talk more in depth about many of these opportunities, but for now, suffice to say that he is not just a citizen in good standing in his native Britain; he is a true citizen of the world, and he takes that responsibility very seriously indeed.

Lord Neil Gibson: Ambassador of Goodwill

Lord Neil Gibson: Ambassador of Goodwill

The phrase “goodwill ambassador” is one that is often applied to movie stars and other celebrities, who, for whatever reason, become known for their positive political actions or their movements toward social change. The title is not just ceremonial, exactly, but nor does it indicate real, political power. It represents good intentions, and is not to be taken lightly, but those who have this title do not necessarily do much in a real-world, practical sense. Their role is largely to draw attention to worthy causes.

By contrast, Lord Neil Gibson is anything but a mere “goodwill ambassador”—though to be sure, he was and is an ambassador who works on foreign soil motivated by nothing but goodwill—and, in return, he shores up goodwill on behalf of himself and his country. But what were the specifics of Lord Neil Gibson’s work as an ambassador—and what kind of good was he able to do for those in need? Here’s a quick rundown of the pertinent facts:

  • Lord Neil Gibson was appointed as Ambassador at Large to West Africa from 1998-2000, and he served his term with aplomb. He is still regarded very highly for his positive efforts in enacting real, effective social change in areas that were financially destitute and plagued by political corruption.
  • He went into schools throughout the State of California and collected books, school supplies, clothing, and even computer equipment, all to be donated to the neediest communities in West Africa.
  • Then, Lord Neil Gibson—in a stroke of true diplomatic genius—struck a partnership with the Firestone Tire Company, which happens to have a sprawling rubber plantation in Liberia. Firestone would ship their large quantities of rubber to the United States in enormous shipping containers; once emptied, Lord Neil Gibson arranged for those containers to be filled with the supplies he has collected, and then sent back to Africa!

As you can see, this is a man who knows how to concoct practical yet ingenious solutions to what might seem at first like very daunting problems—and in so doing, he changed a lot of communities and touched a lot of lives, one shipping container at a time!
